The “Fallen rocks” journey

Driving home today I came across a sign. A strange sign which said, “Fallen rocks.” I’m still contemplating the meaning of the sign. I know it was meant to warn me of possible rock falls, but here’s why it didn’t.

A much more accurate sign could simply say, “Watch out for rocks,” or even just have an image of rocks falling. Not this sign. This sign had a different agenda.

This sign’s purpose was to send me on a deep contemplative journey to find it’s true point. I think that it’s meant as a sort of memorial for the rocks that have fallen. “Fallen rocks.” A commemoration of sorts, it seems; An accurate one at that.
