Why mistakes are okay

Opinions come along a dime a dozen. I don’t have a specialty in the topics that I discuss on this blog. I don’t feel I need to. When someone tells me that I shouldn’t speak of such serious and controversial topics, I feel that this is something that they were simply told themselves.

How can one’s opinions grow and change if they are not put out for the world to criticize? Many of the ideas expressed on this blog are surely at early—if not nonexistent—stages in their development. This just means that someone can correct me, and I can learn.

“An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.”
