It amuses me when people who think you must speak English to live in the US have poor grammar.

    I sometimes question the practical purpose of grammar, when the meaning of a statement is always discernible even when the grammar is incorrect.

    Although, proper grammar does suggest a certain level of intelligence in the mind of the person making the statement. In that sense, it’s a basic measure that let’s you know whether the statement has any chance of being valid and worthy of consideration.

      I don’t mind improper grammar, but I like to see it used in intellectual topics. Otherwise, I’m indifferent.
