Are all the religions true? Nope!

If all religions are a different road to the same god, then why do most religions ask you to kill anyone who wishes to take the other road? Believing in all religion is nonsense. You cannot say all the religions are right, when they all say every other religion is wrong.

Religion is a way of life.Closer to culture then anything spiritual.

so how is religion not “spiritual”? Is this one of those “but it’s a relationship, not a religion” claims?

No religion is often just a bunch of customs and traditions within a culture.Spirituality is a connection to God.

and how does one express this connection to God? Religion certainly seems to be this, and its claims are what this god is and what it wants.

Your connection to God is not one size fits all.Religion provides easy answers to someone who is to lazy to look inward.

You seem to be indicating that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow “lazy”, quite a pejorative term. Is this correct? Run, what you seem to be doing is a common thing for theists, to claim that anyone but them is wrong with little evidence.

nice quote. it’s always curious when theists, especially Christians, make claims that all religions are “really” for the same god. it does seem to indicate that they don’t pay much to what their supposed “holy book” says. It always strikes me as a desperate attempt to claim that all decent humans are “really” Christians, trying to co-opt everyone for their “team”.

I’m seeking and knowing, one that is not connected to God per say but is more about spirituality and understanding the truth of life. I found reading Sonia Choquette’s books very inspiring perhaps you would enjoy them
